Jonathon Dawson

I am from Kentucky (Go Cats!), attended Louisville Bible College and am married to Carrie. We have 3 kids (1 boy, 2 girls) and a grandson. We moved to Georgia in 2012 to serve at Snellville Christian Church. I came to Lakepoint in June 2019 and am very excited to be working with such a great church! I enjoy spending time with family and boating on the lake.
Fun Fact: I do not eat broccoli
R-Kay Willardson

I have been in ministry for 25 years and am passionate about making new and better Disciples of Jesus. I am a diehard Denver Broncos fan and have been all my life. I grew up in Colorado and Utah but love the South and SEC football. I hunt, fish, watch all types of sports, and really enjoy cooking, grilling and BBQ. My wife, Alexis, along with our three children, Natalee, Kayde, and Eli, are so excited about serving at Lakepoint CC.
Payton Hodges

I grew up in a number of different places since my father is a Minister of Music, but I claim Georgia as my home state. I received my undergrad from Mercer University and am pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
My wife and I both feel very called into ministry and we are beyond blessed to be able to do that at Lakepoint.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog. I also enjoy taking breaks from schoolwork to walk through Downtown Madison where we live.
Madison Hayes

My husband, Mathew, and I moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2015 and I started working in Children’s Ministry at Lakepoint the same year. I graduated from Point University with a degree in Child and Youth Development (Early Childhood) and Biblical Studies. My husband and I have three children, Finleigh, Sterling, and Lettie. We enjoy doing things together as a family and I enjoy traveling, working with children, and being a mom and wife. The Lord has truly blessed me and I enjoy being on staff at Lakepoint.
MaCayla Hodges

I was born and raised in Madison, Georgia, where I currently live with my husband, Payton. I graduated from Mercer in 2020 and continue to pursue my Master of Music Therapy. The Lord was so kind in bringing me to Lakepoint. Leading worship through music has always been one of my favorite things to do and something I’ve been called to. I hope to share the transformative, healing, and restoring power of God’s love with others and continue to make worship a lifestyle. I am so thankful to have joined this team and to worship with this community!
Kelly Curtis

I live in Covington with my husband and two girls. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Most of my days are spent running my girls around, but when I get any free time, I love spending it at the beach.
Lilly Smith

My husband and I have lived at the lake since 2015 and love the lake life! I have served as an Office Admin in churches since 2013 and love using my gifts and talents for the Lord. I enjoy spending my free time with my children and five granddaughters, and I especially love traveling with them. I enjoy boating and getting out on the lake in my kayak. Any day I can spend in nature is a good day!
Darlene Patterson

I am a true Georgian! I was born here and have lived here all my life. I moved to Lake Oconee in 2017 after retiring from a marketing company where I worked as an Accounting Manager for 17 years. I love to spend my free time with my two daughters and my grandson. I also enjoy reading a wide variety of books with my book clubs, walking around the lake, and being part of a Lifegroup and Bible Studies here at Lakepoint.
Rob Raynor
Pastor Emeritus
Rob Raynor is the founding pastor of Lakepoint Community Church which was established in May 2008. He retired in June of 2023 and is now enjoying time on the lake and traveling.
